    I like this site & very useful for electrical engineer. Thank you Mr.Jignesh.Parmar, Pl. tell me about;
    1. Impulse & Short circuit testing of transformer. Are these test done on both winding (H.V. &L.V.), if not why only H.V. winding.
    2. Partial discharge on cables

  4. Gufran Khan says:

fabulous site, I didnt studies this much in engineering life too

i am amazed on how many tampering methods available. are all these working?

  8. manu says:

Sir , There is no case of neutral disturbance like diode injection please explain how diode injection affect the meter reading

  9. Robert says:

I’d like to ask the group a question if I may?

Can a BURNT three phase home meter give a true consumption reading of electricity?

I am insisting that a Burnt meter needs to be tested and any readings taken from a Burnt meter would be false readings.

Without testing, the power company is saying that the meter readings are accurate.

    What can I do?

Can anyone direct me to the literature or links that will prove my case?

    Thank you

  10. Brian says:

    hi there,

do u have methods to illustrate about electrical theft through digital meter having three phase?

  11. paul says:

Nice article…thanks for the article. but i would have loved to have the effects of each tamper on the meter measurement and accuracy and suggestion for manufacturer to put measures in place to checkmate them. thanks,

  12. G Mani says:

Jignesh bhai what are you trying to do. We people are already corrupt – please do not add any more corruption. Showing the methods of energy meter tampering do not add any value to any one’s engg. knowledge.

  13. Kanagavalli.B says:

I have a doubt in current reversal due to reversal of phase and neutral terminals in digital meter can you explain me?

  14. Previously i used to cosumed 250 – 270 KWH units before installation of digital meter After installation of digital electic meter it above 1000KWH unitsWhy is it so high.can you guide me

  15. Bihari Lal says:

It is a good way of study prevent electrical theft in our distribution in

  16. Munish says:
