Hi Jignesh , its really very good tool and helpfull but i need your help about Earthing mat calculations for Substation,

I have a project of 220/150 kv substation and it exist one power transformer and going to make extention of another transformer 160 MVA, also it exist Earthing mat for the existing Transformer but is needing earthing mat for the new transformer i used your xls tool for making the design of the earth mat , but the specifications of my project is telling that the earthing conductor diameter is 10.5 mm (63mm2) and this size i can not use it with your 3 standard sizes of earthing conductor as you made it (32-36-40 mm)

please tell me what is possible to do for making the earthing mat according to these specifications:

(sooil resistance is 20 Ohm-m and fault current is 8KA)

220/150 kv, 160 MVA primary discharger, secondary discharger and one Power transformer

dimentions of the substation earthing mat what i made is 160 m X 137 m

in a 3 phase delta to star transformer if single phase has been cutoffed then how the two phases will provide suply???

If you student than Refer B.L.Theraja (Page 919 to 992) for more clarity and

if you are working in filed than your question generate some more questions.

=Suppose If T/C works in only two phase than what will happen

(1) Two phase voltage (p-p) increase with respect to faulty phase or

(2) Two phase voltage (p-p)decrease with faulty phase or

(3) Voltage decrease on all Phase

(4) Voltage increase in all phase..
